Torton have been supplying mobile occupational health vehicles for the past 20 years to a variety of clients. Some clients opt for the custom build Torton body providing anywhere between 3.2-4.5m in length and a nice sizeable space to work from. Other customers require a more conventional van fit out, using a long wheel base and high roof option.

Torton have completed a successful year of events with the Museum of London Archeology (MOLA)

MOLA selected Torton to carry out the transport management and hire of a Torton T7 or X7 subject to the event, which have taken place across the country.

Over the years Torton have supplied Worcester Bosch Group with a variety of products for their various brands and requirements. More recently Torton were chosen to manufacture their latest marketing vehicles, to be spread across the country and be able to demonstrate to their fitters and end users what Worcester Bosch have to offer.

In 2016, Torton produced a 4m Merchandising trailer for the Midlands Air Ambulance. Although this was very successful, it didn't draw the crowds and funds like the Helicopter simulator (The Helipod) that Torton produced in 2017 highlighted in an earlier Torton News feed.

Built to last

Torton have recently completed the full refurbishment program of 9 special lead lined x-ray shelters for the Ministry Of Defence.

Torton were originally commanded to build the shelters 30 years ago with the proviso they should have a 10 year lifespan. All these years on, Torton have repaired and repainted the exterior and upgraded the x-ray systems with interlock and replaced the electrical system to give the shelters a new lease of life.
