Bosch Thermotechnology or simply Bosch as they are more commonly known recently tasked Torton with updating their 7.5 tonnes consumer lorry. The vehicle has seen better days and was dated in design internally and generally just needed to be bought back up to date in line with the latest new build fleet of vehicles Torton have produced for them.
Removal of the external graphic wrap and restoring various parts of the body work were carried out, with a new full graphic wrap being applied, to showcase their latest products, as the vehicle travels on the roads.
Internally, the vehicle was stripped back to the bear shell and relined to provide a new clean surface to showcase their products on. Strength was added to the various sections required to enable complete boilers to be hung from the wall and then put into demo mode when customers were on board.
Modern furniture was bespoke made and installed to the front end, to form a kitchen to serve drinks from, below the boilers to provide a work surface and ample storage along the offside length. Opposite this, a bench seating area was created which would comfortably seat 6 to 8 people from which the screen could be viewed as well as the boilers. A small desk was then installed to the front end of the seating area to give the sales person somewhere to work from in-between appointments.
Part of the refurbishment, Torton also replaced the flooring throughout and also the ceiling tiles to give the vehicle a fresh clean feel and new lease of life.
