Torton have recently been chosen by Your Doctor Film and Media to provide a fleet of mobile clinic vehicles to enable their business and the film industry to keep going through the pandemic.
Your Doctor is a private GP service, and which the Film and Media business has stemmed from since the requirement for testing began. The mobile clinic vehicles enable the team to attend the various shoot locations around the country and also at Pinewood studios, and test all the film stars and production crew prior to starting filming.
Currently involved in the production of the latest Jurassic World blockbuster, the mobile Covid testing vehicles have gone straight into use.
The clinics are based on a panel van conversion and are fitted out to the highest clinical specification. As the vans are the super high roof version, the headroom within is more than enough and makes the working environment for the clinical staff one of which they are happy to spend the day in if required.
The clinic vehicles have a sink facility with hot and cold water, which can be plumbed directly into the mains supply and waste. The vehicle has a ceiling mounted air conditioning unit making the working environment pleasant regardless of the temperature outside, combined with the warm air heating system also installed.
