How low can you go?

In the mid 90's, Torton designed and built exhibition trailers for Honda UK in order for them to attend various outdoor events and showcase the latest models. These were then replaced in the late 00's with a new design from Torton which went on to be another successful project. Here in 2016 Torton have recently worked with Honda's principle agent for outdoor events and have engineered a new design to enable the folding floor extensions to sit at as low as possible without the need for any steps, as per the more traditional designs, making this the 3rd generation of Torton/ Honda hospitality trailers.

The low entrance height to the balcony area gives an inviting look and feel to the trailers which have been well received within the events industry and the client alike. Having such a low access level removes the mental barrier which some clients face when getting potential customers on board. With this design, the line where inside and outside meet becomes invisible, making for a more relaxed environment for both the Honda representatives and the customers.

Inside the trailer, the pod area incorporates a coffee bar with the latest in coffee machine design, a raised sofa area for clients to take a seat and discuss their next Honda purchase, and an information/ interactive area with tablets providing all the information required on the Honda product range.

In addition to the trailers, Torton designed and built bike and car plinths to complement the display by raising the various models to the same height as the entrance platform.
