After 39 combined years working for Torton Bodies, and with over 30 years since returning from having a family, Celia has decided to retire and pass on the role.
Celia started with Torton in 1976 as a Temporary Sales Clerk, originally on a temporary 4 week contract which was soon made permanent as a result of a successful first month.
After 9 more successful years Celia left Torton to start a family but then returned in 1995.
Since then Celia has worked in a number of roles, until settling in the purchasing department and has been an asset to the company over the years with the wealth of knowledge she has accumulated. She was also a major player when the company changed over from its manual costing systems to its computerised system in those early years.
Celia epitomises the values of hard work and attention to detail of which she has always upheld, and will be greatly missed as she starts her retirement.
Many local suppliers have called in during Celia's last week here to wish her well, which is just testiment to what great relationships she has made over the years.
Best of luck in your retirement Celia, you will be missed.
